Worship: Celtic Stream

Celtic Worship in the Benefice

Every Sunday at 9:00 AM, a Celtic service is held somewhere in our Benefice. This service stream is inspired by the spirituality of the early Celtic saints, some of the first Christians in Britain, drawing deeply from their traditions of prayer, simplicity, and closeness to God.
Our regular Celtic services include:
-
First Sunday of the Month: A Service of Celtic Communion – 9:00 AM at St. Peter’s, Grandborough.
(This service blends liturgy from the Northumbria Community with the authorised liturgy of the Church of England.) -
Second Sunday of the Month: A Service of Celtic Morning Prayer – 9:00 AM at St. Peter’s, Bourton.
(This service follows the liturgy of the Northumbria Community.) -
Third Sunday of the Month: A Celtic Breakfast Service – 9:00 AM at St. Peter’s, Grandborough.
(A short, informal service where we pause midway to share a light breakfast of pastries.) -
Fourth Sunday of the Month: A Breakfast Service – 9:00 AM at St. Mark’s, Flecknoe.
(A relaxed and informal gathering that includes a cooked breakfast at the heart of the service.) -
On the fifth Sunday of the month we do things a bit differently so please do check the latest news section of this website
We warmly invite you to join us for any of these services as we explore the richness of Celtic spirituality in worship, prayer, and fellowship.
