Jesus said 'Let the little Children come to me'. â€‹ The Christian faith is a faith for all ages and the gospel of  Jesus is for everyone young and old. We as a Benefice are committed to ensuring there we run activities and events that appeal to all ages.  With life in 2024  being so busy and hectic for families we are working very hard to be very deliberate about  providing families with opportunities to worship and explore faith which work for them.

Some ways we work with Children and families are:

Children's Choir

Our Children's Choir meets every Tuesday at Willoughby Village Hall, where children enjoy learning new songs to sing at special services at St. Nicholas' (such as Christmas, Mothering Sunday, and Harvest Festival). They also perform short concerts at Galanos House in Southam and eagerly look forward to traditional carol singing around the village at Christmas.

Faith, Food, Fun and Friendship

If you're a Year 7 or 8 pupil, you're welcome to join our new Youth Group! We meet monthly for games, big questions, discussions, and food—all in a fun and relaxed environment. In partnership with Thrive Youth Ministries, we'll be learning how to love and serve ourselves, each other, and the wider world through games, creative arts, discussions, videos, and workbooks. Plus, we’ll have plenty of refreshments to keep those brains active!

Working with our Church schools

In our Benefice, we are blessed with two Church Schools: Knightlow C of E Primary School, located in Stretton, and Leamington Hastings Academy in Leamington Hastings. Volunteers from across the Benefice actively contribute to the life of these schools by regularly visiting to lead Collective Worship and provide valuable support to the teaching staff. These efforts help strengthen the connection between the schools and the church, fostering a vibrant community of faith and learning for both students and staff alike
